Since Will’s proposal on the 18^th of December 2009 there’s been quite a lot of planning going on intertwined with our hectic family, work and study lives!

Since will and I launched the website you'll be pleased to hear I sat my final exams at the beginning of May. I am now enjoying home life and the chance to get into more wedding planning.

This website is intended to give you insight into our world and grasp a good idea of our wedding plans and progress.

Please enjoy browsing our website; it's a nice way for you to check in once in a while, especially those of you so far away from us who don’t get to chat to us on a regular basis.

Planning

We have been to several bridal/wedding fairs over the last year; enough to equip us with valuable information, do’s and dont’s and will’s and wont’s!

Actually, our planning has become a welcome break from the rigmarole of hard work. So, with only 2 months to go and on a weekly countdown, we're doing pretty well. We have the photographer, venue, DJ and, most importantly, the registrar booked!

All the bridesmaid’s dresses, my dress, my shoes and boys suits have been purchased.

Will has some accessories too and has been suit hunting with his Dad. There are 6 men in Will's posse including little ones Aaron and Remy.

Recent Update and visit to our venue

We have been pretty busy over the past week and spent quite a lot of money in the process.

We ordered our wedding cake on the 22nd May. It has been carefully chosen to suit all tastes and most diets apart from dairy and nut allergies. If you have any special dietary requirements please let us know before the middle of July. This will give us time to arrange something suitable for you.

On Wednesday 25th May Will and I visited our venue for a final food tasting and planning session. We met with Glenn (our venue's in house wedding planner) and went through all our plans in great detail (this is, at this point, for us to know and you to find out!). Suffice to say we have been precise in our planning and have created some lovely personal touches to our day.

The food at Holne Park House is fantastic. As you will see on your Invitation Menu, we have chosen favourites plus a lovely vegetarian option; it really is extremely tasty! We hope you will agree.

Will ordered his and his groomsmens suits on Monday 30th May! They are going to look very dappa, I can't wait to see Will all suited and booted.

It was an exciting day in all as, when we got home, we ordered our wedding rings after much searching for the perfect ones. High street stores are great for trying out styles and sizes but, with a wealth of online stores, many with far more of an exclusive and varied range, you cannot go wrong when looking for the exact style and quality that you desire.
